How to publish an ebook:

So some people have requested for me to write an article on how to publish an ebook. Now these days, millions of people are using kindle books, which I’m sure you’ve heard of.

In fact, I’ve published a poetry book on Amazon Kindle books and I’m pleased to say that it will be out in kindle stores worldwide in less than three days!

It is free to publish an ebook on Kindle books, just head to this link:

https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US?ref_=kdpgp_p_uk_psg_kw_ad67

Once you’re on there, you must log in to your Amazon account. If you don’t have one, you can easily create one.

Then you fill in a few details, your name, address and a description of your book.

You can then create your own book cover. I must add, although kindle books is the easiest way to publish your book in great quality for free, they do rubbish book covers. Their templates for book covers are so bad and not attractive at all. So how did I get a brilliant book cover for mine:

That’s all to do with a site called Canva.

https://www.canva.com/

Canva has millions of beautiful templates for free for you to edit, play around with and download when you’re done. It’s free to sign up and they have hundreds of brilliant templates for book covers.

Kindle books allows you to download any image for your book cover, so click on the new and attractive book cover that you have created on Canva.

Next step is the content of your book. All you have to do is download it onto kindle books. It’s as easy as that! Kindle books allows your content to be downloaded from Microsoft Word, Documents, files, PowerPoints and a few other writing softwares. Don’t worry, you can always make changes to your book!

Then you just sort out the pricing, fill in your bank account details and click publish! It takes less than 72 hours for your book to be available on kindle stores worldwide and they will send you an email when they’re ready!

See how easy that was? And it costs just Β£0.74 to publish a paperback, and you can publish a paperback and an ebook.

Make sure you always read the terms and conditions!

And before I start a new thing, I always research the pros and cons. I would highly recommend that you do the same and here is a great link to some pros and cons:

OK, I wish you all the best on your writing journeys and I hope you become successful in whatever you do πŸ’•, and any questions are welcome!!!!

I saw your ebook post, but I was extremely busy, I couldn’t read it.

I will go back to it.

I know it’s going to be great.

Unfortunately, purchasing an ebook with Amazon might not really be convenient for me in Nigeria.

I have some challenges activating my amazon account. (That’s what is stopping me from publishing mine)

But as soon as it’s sorted out, I will definitely order a copy πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—you have my word

    Stay safe πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’―

  4. My book? Well, I want to write such a book that people can call home. So, I am writing it in first person. The protagonist is a 13 year old girl, Elena Nickels. There’s no “story” as such…But I am trying to write incidents that portray feelings and add thrill to the book. As the books proceeds, she’ll witness death and love…She’ll experience what it’s like to live and how everything falls in place, with time. I was thinking of the title ‘Voices in my head’ … and the tagline as ‘A bouquet of all my heartstrings’….But i’m not too sure yet.
And, thank you for your mail…I would absolutely love to work with you!!πŸ€—πŸ’–

  5. Yeah.
    Oh, it sounds Fantastic! 😊
What about calling it Elena’s Voice? I’m not that good at titles! But I can help with anything else!
What do you want on the cover… A Girl? Or a scene?
