Guest post – A poem by Nima Mohan

Hiya everyone, it’s Phoenix here and we have another guest post for you!

Today, we have a poem by.. Nima Mohan! If you haven’t checked out her blog already, do it now because it’s honestly amazing! Don’t forget to follow her blog, the tenth zodiac.

So Nima has written a beautiful poem for us called Changeling. Here it is!

A world so distinct lives in me,
Unlike the one I live in.
No noise and none disrupts,
A world I live only in dreams.

Rainbows maybe one reason,
Fairy wings or butterflies,
With each flutter -born are shades,
Pinks with blues and all combines.

Hues and shades of sky all seen,
Horizons are painted marvel,
The sun and moon meet and greet,
With such a bouquet of stars shining.

The air is sweet and honey to ears,
Blooming flowers and singing birds,
The trees too add to the orchestra,
The leaves and branches pulsing with

But there is also the white winter,
Having a live in with the spring,
Snowflakes and color petals,
Swirl up in wind and I get lost.

And when I start living in there,
The mundane life here calls me back.
I know I lack something in here,
Maybe my fairy wings or fairy dust.

I know I do not belong in here,
I do not know how I came in here,
But to find my way back home,
I should first find my fairy wings.
