Fridays with Phoenix #1

Hey everyone! Welcome to our first Fridays with Phoenix, I hope you’re all doing well and you’re all safe and happy!

I’ve decided that every Friday, I’ll talk about my lifestyle, writing progress, some random thoughts and of course, the absolutely cute and crazy life of my ten month old kitten…Lil Phoenix!

So let’s start!

This week we ate a lot of flapjacks. I quite like flapjacks, they’re chewy, crunchy and tasty to snack on.

You can smash it all up and sprinkle over yogurt – the mixture is divine – trust me 😍😍😍

We have a lot of fruit too, mango, pineapple, peaches and melon.

I’ve also been keeping myself occupied with drawing and creative writing. I’ve decided to write a page a day of creative writing/descriptions.

I haven’t had the time to do some reading lately, but I’ve just finished Anne Of Green Gables for the twentieth time (It’s my favourite 😍) and I never get bored of it.

This week, I’ve also been reading The way past winter by Kiran Millwood Hargrave.

To be honest, it didn’t captivate me in the way her other books, The Girl of Ink and Stars and The Island at the end of everything did. But it was a good read altogether πŸ€—

And I’m sure that you want to hear about lil Phoenix, my ten month old kitten.

Don’t think his life is cute and crazy? Then take a look at this πŸ‘‡

The first time I saw him on the roof, I almost screamed! I was so scared for him, but he goes there every day, so I’m kind of okay with it now, I just hope he won’t fall down!

He likes going on garden adventures too, and because he’s still young, we only let him out from a month ago.

Earlier this week, he learnt how to jump onto the fence and walk along it. He looked pretty happy out there. Well he did, until…

Tuesday. I heard him jump onto the fence and went down to look. Everything was going absolutely fine, until he started sniffing the fence. I went closer and then Lil Phoenix started running, and he was being chased by a… FOX!

It was his first encounter with a fox, and he didn’t take his time to dash indoors and hide. The fox caught sight of me and ran off, thank goodness, but I was so so scared for Lil Phoenix! Hopefully, he’ll be more careful now…

So, because we’ve both been indoors a lot, I get out some toys and play with him.

Playtime with Phoenix is always fun. We both end up exhausted on the floor – well I do anyway.

Earlier this week, we walked to our local park and brought some snacks.

πŸ˜πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

The weather was quite pleasant and we enjoyed going for a trip outside together for the first time in ages.

I’ve also discovered a new hobby, photography! I like taking pictures of Lil Phoenix and sunsets.

I LOVE sunsets, painting them, drawing them and taking photos of them! Do you like sunsets?

And I think I’ve said quite a lot about my week, so… I want to know what happened in your week? πŸ˜ƒ Tell me in the comments section below πŸ‘‡

Thank you so much for staying this long, don’t forget to like, share and leave a comment because I love hearing your thoughts!

Stay safe,

Anytime lil Phoenix disturbs you or acts stubborn, try to scare him with a picture or video of a fox πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
