Hi everyone, I hope you’re doing great and here are the results for last week’s poetry Competition!
Contestants had to write about Sweet treats, and this competition was judged by the lovely Vrinda Nair.
Vrinda Nair is an aspiring scientist and currently specializes in molecular and computational biology with a keen interest in programming. She also does independent research on numerous scientific questions which sparks curiosity inside her. She also got featured in 1 Million Women in STEM as a role model for the future generation. Apart from her scientific inclination, she is an author-poet of three published books.
Thank you so much for judging Vrinda, and now for the winner…
Congratulations 🎊 Here is the amazing poem he has written:
The words came slow and buttery…
Like the taste of fresh candy corn in early Autumn;
Dissolving and flavoring the soul
and filling it with the memories
of the days where the leaves piled up just asking for someone to leap….
and then exploded into the heart in a rain of dried, candied wafers.
