Guest poem

This poem was submitted by Saumya from Draw-Write Inspire. Check out her blog here: https://drawwriteinspire.wordpress.com/

Here is the poem she has written about the feeling of getting lost in a book:

Trying to explore the possibilities, Seeing the magic inside me increase;

Go underwater and touch the skies, Feel the illusion in your eyes, Catch the rhythm and hold it tight Shine bright like the moonlight.

I’m lost in the fantasy, Don’t wanna come out of it until I’m over it, I want nobody with me, It’s the only reason that I don’t quit;

Don’t know what it feels like to be empty, The magic is trying to heal me gently;

Go underwater and touch the skies, Feel the illusion in your eyes, Catch the rhythm and hold it tight Shine bright like the moonlight.

I’m lost in the fantasy,
Don’t wanna come out of it until I’m over it,
I want nobody with me,
It’s the only reason that I don’t quit;

I don’t want to ever,
Ever get outside of it,
I’m pretty good in there,
And I know I am,
Nothing without it,
I’m pretty good in there,

I’m lost in the fantasy,
Don’t wanna come out of it until I’m over it,
I want nobody with me,
It’s the only reason that I don’t quit;
