Writer’s room #2 – In writing, what do you struggle with the most and how do you overcome that struggle?

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well and safe.

Welcome to Penable’s second writer’s room!

I will be posting questions every Tuesday and Thursday.

All you have to do is:

  • Introduce yourself
  • Answer the question in the comments section below, feel free to rant
  • Reply back to other writer’s comments and interact with other writers, poets and authors
  • Come back to this post and chat for as long as you like – about anything writing-related
  • Answer other writer’s comments
  • Chat about your WIP

Please don’t use the comments to hurt other people’s feelings and please mind your language and what you rant about – we have young viewers.

Here is the question for today:

In writing, what do you struggle with the most and how do you overcome that struggle?

Even if you haven’t overcomed that struggle, still feel free to comment down below!

I’m here to help!

Comment down below and start a discussion!

Stay safe,

  1. I think sometimes I feel something and see a visual in my head but when I try to pen it down somethig feels amiss and somehow I don’t think I am doing justice to that..

  2. Yes! Everything is so different in my head to what I actually write and I end up deleting a lot of things.
But as I learn more, I find my writing improving.
And it never turns out quite how it’s like in my head, but it does end up close to it eventually, after I take a lot of breaks away from my work.

    Thank you for sharing!
How do you think you overcome that struggle?
